Petrovietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) opened for business in 2001. However, the experience of PV Drilling traced back to the formation of PTSC Offshore Services as a division of Petroleum Technical Services Company in 1994. After the successful privatization in 2006, PV Drilling was transformed into a joint stock company, and its stocks were listed on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange on 12/05/2006 with charter capital of VND 680 billion. Currently, the corporation’s charter capital has reached VND 1,101,397,300,000 (a thousand and one billion three hundred ninety seven million and three hundred thousand Vietnamese Dong). PV Drilling stock (stock code: PVD) is a blue chip which has significant influences and has triggered interests to numerous local and foreign investors.
PV Drilling initially started off with minor and low-cost services such as tool rental, oil spill control and drilling equipment inspection, refurbishment and maintenance services. Over the time, PV Drilling has rapidly expanded its range of services and invested in hundred-million-dollar investment projects such as jack-up rigs and high technological equipment to meet the changing demands of the clients, thereby to obtain the target of becoming the international reputable drilling and drilling related services provider.

Monitor and handle the General Accounting activities including but not limited to:
- Prepare required financial statements and explanation per monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;
- Prepare periodic analysis for profit and loss on trading and production;
- Do the reconciliation on incurred business transactions between subsidiaries among our group;
- Checking the bookings of incurred business transactions and reconcile prime ledger and general control accounts;
- Follow up whole group debts and general management on debt issues. Identify and make suitable proposal on possible bad debt provisions;
- Statistic and consolidate some specific accounting figures for whole group if required;
- Update guidelines and proposed solutions on accounting bookings and improve current accounting reporting system to adapt new changes;
- Be a membership of internal company audit team at the subsidiaries;
- Provide required reports to Managing General Director Board or functional organizations if requested;
- Explain accounting figures and provide documentation to Tax Authority, Inspectors or Group Management request.
- Others tasks assigned.

- Graduated from the University of Accountancy/ Audit/ Finance; Prefer to the certificates of ACCA, CPA, CFA …
- Experience in position of general accounting at large Join Stock Corporations or audit firms;
- Understand tax regulation and accounting standards;
- Fluent in Excel, accounting software. Prefer to experience in using Oracle or SAP software;
- Good at English;
- Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
