JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
• Coordination and preparation of monthly forecasts and variance analysis of costs against budgets and forecasts
• Coordination and preparation of the monthly capital expenditure forecast and analysis of actual
• Coordination and preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts, cash flow usage planning and identify financial risks
• Maintaining and monitoring all debt covenants, funding requirements, financial ratios and conditions precedent to drawdowns of external fundings
• Assist with the budgeting process
• Preparation of monthly management reports or any ad-hoc reports
• Assist and/or prepare group reporting requirements
• Managing and coordinating construction and financial audits with external auditors, bankers, lawyers
• Participate in and support special projects as required
• Meet established internal and external deadlines to ensure timely financial reporting and maintain monthly tracking of external submissions and other key metrics
• Liaise with various internal departments to provide reports or information as required
• Assist with design and implementation of computer assisted financial analysis & reports
• Participate in bankable feasibility studies and evaluation of greenfield projects
• Participate in the implementation of the ERP
• Assist with the design and implementation of accounting and finance processes and internal controls
• Plan, coordinate and perform periodic physical asset and inventory count to reconcile items with each responsible department or custodians (assets) and warehouse (inventory)
• Work and assist the accounting team when required
• Tax planning and to ensure compliance with all statutory tax requirements and legislation

REQUIREMENTS
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA
• Experience with one of the Big 4 companies is a plus
• A minimum of 4 years financial experience in commercial and/or public practice with 1 to 2 years at a senior level
• Familiarity with IFRS and VAS
• Mining experience desirable (for senior role)
• Knowledge and experience in taxation for mining companies
• Knowledge and application of capital expenditure protocols
• Strong project management skills and ability to solve problems
• Able to multitask and complete jobs on an ad-hoc basis
• Must be organised and detail oriented, but also be able to step back and think strategically
• Good written and verbal communication in both Vietnamese and English as well as interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to learn, grow, develop and coach
• Sound commercial acumen and accountability for bottom-line reporting, including financial outcomes
• Experience in implementation of ERP desirable
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and a self starter
